Mardi Gras
Saturday was quite a mighty day. The party all began promptly as Big D, Dono, Javy, and Javy's brother, Alex, all went out to Endymion. First we were sidetracked at a Popeyes where Dono and Big D purchased a large amount of chicken, french fries, and biscuits. Secondly, we were sidetracked again when Fae wished to join our quest. We got to Endymion late, Illegally parked in a Rite Aid lot, and Javy bought a case of Brisk Ice Tea and bags of ice, and marched to the route. Once there, we sat around, ate, and chilled, until we realized we weren't going to get any plastic crap, and left to go to the Metairie parades. On the way out Big D stole a parking sign from Delgado's parking lot. The Pirate Guild rejoiced at this. Once at the Metairie parade route, we invaded the space of a group of people we ran into (aka Dono's family) and then proceeded to go mess with Mike cause he was at work and was only a block away. We then partook in Ice Cream at Marble Slab, thanks to our server, Mike. After a while, Jason joined us to watch Lauren who was marching in Rummel's band in Corps de Napoleon. Then we got our plastic crap (which Jason and Fae then donated to Dono's little sister. ) Eventually Javy and Alex left to head back home. After a while, we headed over and met up with Curtis and Danny at Curtis' White Box of a House and the rest of us went and picked up Karrie so she could join the fun. We all chilled, watched Hero, and acted like morons half the time. All in all, it was a glorious night. Unfortunatly, Dono and Javy has to go back to Mobile Sunday and will miss out on Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I'm sure everyone else will celebrate mightily.
In other news, CURTIS AND JASON ARE ON THE WEBSITE! WOHO!!!!
Also, we have a Pledge to the Nation of Fat. He is one of Curtis' friends Danny. He's pretty cool, so the Co-Founders shall investigate if he is ready for the Nation. He was once over the weight limit (barely though) so he shall be part of the Nation. All that remains is Lauren and Lewie. And after that, finding time to get everyone's pictures up.
